Lucia Villa
Las Villa, Laura and Lucia, are a duo of singer-songwriters twins’ sisters with a daring, energetic, fresh, proposal. Born in Bogotá, Colombia and educated since childhood in diverse disciplines like classical music and flamenco, the singers mix urban rhythms such as trap and reggaeton with the delicate melodic influences of poetry, combining ingredients from three different continents: America, Europe and Asia.
At the end of 2019, they released their first single, “Nadita”, a combination of trap and reggaeton that results in an avant-garde sound. In May 2020, they released their track “Mírame” featuring urban artist Miky Woodz, followed by “Caníbales” with Colombian singer Beéle, in September. On their latest single “Gira Gira,” Las Villa team up with Harry Nach, one of the most successful artists of the urban genre in Chile. This song comes after the success they had with “Balada para Perrear”, which has accumulated over 10M streams to date, and “Dura”, a collaboration with the Canarian artist Juanfran. In addition, they have also collaborated with Latin Grammy winner renowned producer, Tainy and with the Venezuelan group LAGOS on their song “Cuerno.” Despite their short career, Las Villa already surpass 80 million streams on digital platforms.
Currently, Las Villa are preparing to release their first EP and are part of the TV series "The Next Game Changers" hosted by Latin superstar J Balvin. The duo appeared with other young talents and demonstrate the difficulties they must overcome to conquer the music industry.
