MANÁ is considered by critics to be the most influential Mexican rock band in the world. Over their 35-year career, their music has been released in more than 40 countries, resulting in 50 #1 hits, and over 40 million records sold worldwide. MANÁ has topped the all-time lists in Latin America, the United States, Europe, and in their native Mexico, where they’ve set records in music sales and concert attendance.
Formed in 1986, the band released its first album, Falta Amor, in 1990. In 1992, the group released ¿Dónde Jugarán Los Niños? which sold more than 10 million copies worldwide, becoming the best-selling Spanish-language rock album of all time. After several lineup changes, the group released Cuando los Ángeles Lloran (1995). MANÁ followed with Sueños Líquidos (1997), Revolución de Amor (2002), and Amar es Combatir (2006), which continued the group's success. The band subsequently released Drama y Luz in 2011 and Cama Incendiada, in 2015.
“ERES MI RELIGIÓN” featuring Joy, is MANÁ’s latest single from their new collaboration project in which the band revisits their greatest songs, accompanied by a renowned and diverse group of music artists.
In 2016, MANÁ earned a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and performed in concert at the White House, during the “Cinco de Mayo” celebration. Their 2016 “Latino Power” tour was named by Pollstar as the Latin tour with the highest U.S. box score. In 2018, the Latin Recording Academy named MANÁ “Person of the Year,” the first time this distinction has been awarded to a band. In 2019 as part of their “Rayando el Sol Tour,” MANÁ became the first and only act to sell out 7 dates at the Los Angeles Forum as part of a single tour breaking previous records of 6 shows held by both The Eagles and Kanye West.
