As the co-leader of Lady A, Hillary Scott has been part of becoming one of 21st century’s premier vocal groups, blending deeply felt emotions with classic Country sounds. While ushering more than 18 million album units, 34 million tracks sold and nearly five billion digital streams, the trio is best known for their DIAMOND certified hit “Need You Now,” which is the highest certified song by a Country group. They have earned Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music's “Vocal Group of the Year” trophies three years in a row and countless other honors including nine Grammy Awards along with Billboard Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards, Teen Choice Awards and a Tony Award nod. In 2012, the band created LadyAID, a philanthropic effort to bring awareness to numerous initiatives around the world ranging from helping vulnerable children, societal and cultural issues, as well as natural disaster aid and recovery, most recently announcing the LadyAID Scholarship Fund, supporting students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities. LadyAID has now given out more than $1.6M in grants to date. In addition to her success across the globe performing as part Lady A, Hillary Scott & The Scott Family claimed the top spot atop the Billboard Christian Albums chart and two GRAMMY Awards with their debut album LOVE REMAINS. Scott serves as a songwriter for many of Lady A’s chart-topping hits as well as for artists such as Blake Shelton and Sara Evan's No. One hit, "A Little Bit Stronger.”
