Jessica Roiz
Jessica Roiz is a bilingual multimedia journalist whose love for music and writing has paved her career path. Currently the Assistant Editor for Billboard Latin, Jessica has worked in digital media since 2006 with previous bylines on The Miami Herald, El Nuevo Herald, Huffington Post, Latin Times, and MiTú, to name a few. She's also the founder of the Spanglish entertainment blog Pulso POP. In 2014 she was named Best New Journalist by the Nicaraguan community in Miami. In 2017 she was recognized as one of BeVisible's "Top Latinx Founders in Online Media You Need To Know" and in 2018, she was nominated for two Tecla Awards at Hispanicize: Best Digital Journalist and Best Entertainment and Lifestyle Content Creator. Besides her passion for journalism, Jessica is a loyal Selena Quintanilla fan, a nostalgic '90s kid, and a proud Nicaraguan!
